The UWAB Forum for Empowerment through Entrepreneurship (UWAB-FETE) is a free business start-up support service - that will provide guidance and encouragement for businesses by women entrepreneurs. The UWA-FETE will function as an advisory board providing guidance and mentoring support in addition to providing a shared office space, access to office equipment - computers, printers, internet, and possibly even an address for a specified period.

Guidance/ Advisory services will cover the following areas:

• Starting a Business

• Technology for Business

• Legal & Accounting Advice

• Business Insights and

• Training where applicable

We have already established our FETE-Committee with members and well-wishers who are senior functionaries in different industries. These men and women who have a cumulative of more than 100 years of industry experience have offered their time and services to help encourage new business ventures. Though we have gone beyond the drawing board stage of setting up UWAB-FETE, we are not yet fully functional. But we request young entrepreneurs and people foraying for the first time into business, to contact us and make best use of the facilities we have to offer.
