I only want to learn some basics of computers. I need to be able to send emails and receive them? Am I too old to join the classes here?

No one is too old or too young to learn. ALL are welcome. While most of our courses are to enable less privileged youth to gain skills that will increase their employability; we believe that education is for all.

I would like to sponsor the daughter of my household help to gain a certificate in computer literacy. Can I send her to UWAB CTC?

Yes indeed! The courses here are specially tailored for students such as your household help's children. It is a wonderful thing that you are thinking of sponsoring the child to gain additional skills. Please do contact our CTC, the staff will help you choose the best course. They will also provide you with direct inputs as to attendance and aptitude of the student if you require.

I am retired now, and want to brush up on my computer skills. I would like a refresher course, and would also like someone to educate me on the latest trends and advancements in technology. Can the UWAB CTC help me?

Yes, of course! Since classes at the CTC are tailored for individuals and personalized to suit the individual's learning style, you will indeed be able to engage with our staff and get educated on the latest trends. We do have some retired folk and senior citizens coming in for refresher classes. So you won't be alone. Further, since the classes will have many youngsters, you will find coming to the UWAB CTC refreshing as well!
