UWAB honours women achievers from Bangalore to commemorate the International Women's Day. Every year in March the awards are presented to one/ two eminent Bangaloreans.  UWAB hosts a meeting and celebrates outstanding achievements of the awardee.

The UWAB board deliberates and selects recepients in January.
